A bit of a cliff hike to the beach, and a ways removed from the downtown action, but great views of the ocean! Not for those who want to be on the main beach, unless you want to take a cab into town every day.
If you are a tennis fan and don't want to fall off of your game while on vacation in Cabo, you are in luck. There are several good hotels in Cabo San Lucas and along the Los Cabos Corridor that offer tennis courts.
A good idea for planning your tennis in Cabo in summer is to reserve a court either during the morning or in the late afternoon. Cabo is located in the tropics and the hot mid-day hours are best used for poolside or beaching it. Some of the hotel courts are lit, so evening tennis is also an option.
Although tennis equipment is available in Cabo, it's a good idea to bring your own racket. Tennis balls are readily available, but bringing a can of balls can't hurt.
Almost all of the hotels that offer tennis are on the coast from Cabo San Lucas to San Jose del Cabo. The downtown hotels and the Marina hotels just don't have the real estate for tennis facilites.
